New Server

I have hesk running on one server
would like to move it to another
AND at the same time upgrade to 2.0

Please help me how do i do this setup? I am guessing new install on new server, but how do i get the old data in there???

Copy all the files and the database to the new server, then install the update over it. You should be able to move the database from your host's control panel, usually you have a script named phpMyAdmin available.

so copy the existing to new server
then import mysql to that
THEN run the 2.0 update?

do i need to make any other changes?

so far i did the opposite and its returning errors on impirt of mysql
(i installed 2.0 and tried to import it)

ok tried it both ways and i get this error when i try to impoirt

i tried again this time naming the new database on the new swerver same name as the old server and it returns the erro that it already exists! HELP

i went into the exisitgn serer my php admin exported the database

i then copied that exisiting directory to the new server

tried to import the datbase thru myphp admin no go

then i did a new install, tried to import the original database no go

how can i save the old database on new server???

I can't help you copy databases, but maybe Google can:
